Breath of the Wild has been out now for a year and a half, so it’s only natural that we speculate on what we are getting from the legendary franchise. IGN, in one of the latest episodes of their Nintendo Voice Chat podcast, discusses what they would like to see from a new game. The reason this topic was bought to the forefront? Recent job postings were found for various roles including a dungeon/level designer for a Zelda related project.

Peer, Zak, Brian and Tina debate whether this could be a brand new game or whether it could be a new piece of DLC for the latest entry in the series. Interestingly, in related news, Nintendo’s new president Shuntaro Furukawa recently said that he was keen to support more titles with fresh paid downloadable content. Could the two stories be connected?

What do you guys think? Would you like to see a new game in the near future or an expansion for Breath of the Wild? Conversely, what about a 2D title or a new multiplayer game? Let us know in the comments below.
