Nintendo has never been afraid to have its characters cross over from one franchise to another. This is particularly true for Link, who has appeared in a number of other Nintendo franchises over the years. Now, he is set to appear in Super Mario Maker 2! Nintendo UK dropped a new video on its YouTube channel highlighting the Master Sword power-up, which transforms Mario into Link! While transformed, Link can attach with classic Zelda items like the Master Sword, the Bow and Arrows, and the Bombs. He can also deflect projectiles with his shield. I can’t wait to see what crazy levels creators come up with to take advantage of the Master Sword power-up’s unique abilities! The update will be released on December 5.
