The latest patch for the Nintendo Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild added Nintendo Labo VR support to the game. It also appears to have another important impact: loading times seem to be significantly improved! Twitter user @Pikastroff posted a side-by-side comparison of Link leaving a shrine before and after the patch. The patch shaves about five seconds off the loading time to get back into the overworld! I know loading times are a huge annoyance for fans in the vast majority of games, so it’s great to see Nintendo continue to work on making improvements in this area over two years after the game’s initial release!
