Heads up 8 bit music lovers- this one is for you. This remix by Youtuber Loeder of the familiar song in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will surely capture your ears for this quick 5 minutes of retro flashback on the recent game. Three voices are present in this remix, just enough to highlight the key components of the 8 bit genre. Songs such as this one quickly take us back in time with the catchy lead high notes, melodic middle tones, and the low roaring bass voice. 8 bit songs have a certain epic nature to them, without having to be too stuffed with a multitude of voices- simplicity at its finest.
If you have played either A Link to the Past or the more recent A Link Between Worlds, you will recognize the tune of exploring the fields of the dark world in both games. For those who have not yet had the chance to play A Link Between Worlds, this song may be the extra push to sway your interest. Being a big fan of A Link to the Past, I also thoroughly enjoyed A Link Between Worlds and I highly recommend the title. I also recommend sitting back and losing yourself to this interesting retro layered remix.
